In the five U.S. Opens contested at Winged Foot Golf Club's private West Course prior to 2020, only Greg Norman and Fuzzy Zoeller (both in the 1984 championship won by Zoeller) posted under-par totals for the week. Opened in 1923, the A.W. Tillinghast Golden Age-era design offers no gimmicks, but rather tree-lined fairways, deep bunkers, thick rough and sloped greens as its defense against par. Have Clubs Will Travel host David Wood showcases the 2020 U.S. Open venue in the latest Where To Golf Next travel series.
