What was the LPGA thinking? Blue wall behind 18th green at ANA Inspiration is no banner moment for women’s tour

If the LPGA wants to be taken seriously, how can it erect a wall behind the 18th green at the ANA Inspiration, one of the women’s tour’s major championships? “It didn’t make any sense,”Morning Read founder and publisher Alex Miceli says in his “One Take” video. And speaking of artificial obstacles, Miceli offers some unsolicited advice for the PGA Tour’s Kevin Kisner: “Do not use social media.” Also on the topic of golf media, Miceli responds to a publication’s recent resurrection of a 2-year-old poll regarding the most “underwhelming” winners in the U.S. Open, which 2005 champion Michael Campbell lampooned in response. Campbell, “underwhelming”? “I don’t think so,” Miceli says.
