Bubble trouble
Alex Miceli questions the recent White House decision to grant the PGA Tour – just in time for this week's WGC event and then next week’s PGA Championship – a lot of latitude in admitting foreign golfers ‘from bubble to bubble’ to the U.S. to compete and avoid quarantine restrictions

Alex Miceli salutes Lee Westwood for his decision not to come to America and play this week’s WGC event in Memphis and next week’s PGA Championship. But the recent move by the White House to allow the PGA Tour and the PGA of America to relax the quarantine rules “doesn’t make much sense,” Miceli said. “The White House response is, Well, they’re coming from bubble to bubble. That’s why it’s OK. Are those people really coming from ‘bubble to bubble’? Who really knows?”
