Victory in Japan wasn't even most surprising result of week

In just one year, Tiger Woods has gone from a curiosity because of his back and knee injuries to a 15-time major champion who holds a share of the PGA Tour’s all-time victories lead. Alex Miceli concedes, “I am wrong” regarding Woods’ ability to come back. Yet, as amazing as Woods’ triumph in Japan was to Miceli, the victory by England’s Steven Brown at the European Tour's Portugal Masters ranked up there, too. “That, to me,” Miceli says, “is more surprising than Tiger Woods’ winning in Japan.”
