What do Justin Thomas, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods have in common? In the modern era, all won 12 times on the PGA Tour before turning 27. Thomas, 26, outlasted defending champion Xander Schauffele and Patrick Reed in a three-man playoff to win the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Of those 12 victories for Thomas, only five have occurred on the U.S. mainland, Alex Miceli noted. Thomas will make the island hop this week to Oahu for the Sony Open, where he completed the Hawaii doubleheader sweep in 2017.
