Plenty of workers in the golf industry are suffering during the coronavirus pandemic, Alex Miceli said. Among them: superintendents, club pros and caddies. “These people need our help as much as the first responders and those people in the emergency rooms,” Miceli said. “They’re not doing the same thing, but the point is, they are suffering, as well.” The extraordinary loopers at Bandon Dunes and St. Andrews, for example, need a hand while their livelihoods have vanished. GoFundMe pages have been set up for the caddies at Bandon Dunes and St. Andrews.
