Yes, Daniel Berger won the Charles Schwab Challenge in a playoff as the PGA Tour returned from a three-month layoff, but Bryson DeChambeau had tongues wagging at Colonial. DeChambeau added plenty of muscle during the break, and he used his Tour-leading driving distance to overpower the storied layout in Fort Worth, Texas, before coming up one stroke short of Berger, who defeated fellow America Collin Morikawa in a playoff. “This is somebody thinking that he had to get longer to be better,” Alex Miceli said of DeChambeau. “And guess what? His length maybe has made him better."
