Itsmyluckyday wins Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Itsmyluckyday drew off in the stretch to win the $75,000 Majestic Light Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Code West beating 1¼ lengths.

Ridden by Paco Lopez - who had four winners on the day - and trained Eddie Plesa Jr., the 4-year-old colt ran the mile and 70 yards over a fast track in 1:41 3-5 and returned $2.60, $2.10 and $2.10. The win was the seventh in 16 career for Itsmyluckyday, who has earned $933,100.

Code West returned $2.60 and $2.20, and Spa City Fever paid $2.80 to show.
