All Bets Off, Stevensville lead Rooney Pace

YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) Elimination heat winners All Bets Off and Stevensville will headline Saturday night's 300,000 final of Yonkers Raceway's 24th Art Rooney Pace.

The premier event for 3-year-olds has New York-bred All Bets Off racing from the No. 4 post. All Bets Off comfortably won the second of last weekend's two $40,000 elimination races, leading from start to finish, with the mile timed in 1:52.3.

Stevensville, himself a wire-to-wire winner in 1:53 in the other elimination, landed post No. 6 for the final.

Also entered were Thereisapaceforus, Bondi Hanover, Gold Rocks, Some Playa, Unlocked and Ideal Fashion.

The $124,744 final of the Lismore for 3-year-old fillies also will be run Saturday night.
