Kathleen Rose wins feature at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Kathleen Rose led all the way to win the $65,000 feature by 2 1/4 lengths at Santa Anita on Thursday.

Ridden by Edwin Maldonado, Kathleen Rose ran a mile on the turf in 1:35.33 and paid $9.80, $3.60 and $3.20.

Theatre Star returned $3 and $3, while Redressthbalance was another 3 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $4 to show.

The victory, worth $50,700, increased Kathleen Rose's career earnings to $231,540, with five wins in nine starts.
