Mosler wins $77,000 Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) Mosler held off Encryption by a half length Thursday to win the $77,000 allowance feature at Belmont Park.

A $1 million yearling purchase last September, Mosler won for the second time in four starts. He grabbed the lead shortly after the start and dictated the pace for the mile in 1:36.08 on the fast track. Joel Rosario was aboard for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott.

Mosler paid $12.60, $5.50 and $4.50. Encryption returned $4.40 and $3.30 while Cool Samurai paid $5.50 to show.
