NEW YORK (AP) Overprepared held off Liberty Island by 1 1/4 lengths Friday in the $100,000 Busanda Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.

Sent to the lead shortly after the start by Irad Ortiz, Jr., Overprepared dictated the pace in her second win in three starts.

The even-money favorite trained by Todd Pletcher ran a mile and 70 yards in 1:44.69 on the fast track, paying $4.20, $3.20 and $2.80.

Liberty Island returned $6.40 and $5, and Diannestillworks paid $6.50 to show.
