Don Dulce wins $69,000 Aqueduct feature in photo finish

NEW YORK (AP) Don Dulce survived a bumpy stretch battle and a three-way photo finish Sunday to win the $69,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

The 7-year-old gray gelding won by a neck over Snake Pit, with Celebrated Talent a nose back in third. Don Dulce won for the eighth time in 41 starts.

Celebrated Talent, the even-money favorite, was disqualified and placed fifth for interference in the stretch. The time was 1:41.24 for the mile and 70 yards on the fast track.

Don Dulce, trained by Michael Wilson and ridden by Ruben Silvera, paid $18.60, $7.20 and $5.20. Snake Pit returned $5.10 and $4.30. Golden Itiz, elevated from fourth into the show spot, paid $4.80.
