Water issue at Pimlico shuts down bathrooms ahead of Preakness

A water issue at Pimlico Race Course shut down a number of the facility's toilets shortly before the start of the 2015 Preakness Stakes, according to multiplereports.
The issue occurred on the Pimlico grounds, a city official toldTheBaltimore Sun. Melissa Hoppert of The New York Timesreported that the issue stemmed from a water leak two miles away from the grounds, and track officials told The Baltimore Sun that there was a water main break two miles from the course.
A number of bathrooms were affected by the issue, with numerous toilets either unusable or backed up.
The 2015 Preakness is slated to begin at 6:18 p.m. ET on Saturday. American Pharoah is the favorite after winning the Kentucky Derby earlier this month.

I bet no one ever thought the infield, with its army of port o potties, would be the best ticket in town. #Preakess
