ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Kulik Lodge returned from an eight-month layoff to win the $63,000 feature by a nose Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, Kulik Lodge ran one mile on turf in 1:37.98 and paid $7.60, $4.40 and $3.

Twentytwentyvision returned $2.80 and $2.60 as the 9-5 favorite, while Global View was another three-quarter of a length back in third and paid $3 to show.

Tom Proctor trains the winner and third-place finisher.

The victory, worth $37,800, increased Kulik Lodge's career earnings to $147,200, with four wins in five starts.
