Pure Tactics wins Wickerr Stakes at Del Mar

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Pure Tactics rallied to beat Winning Prize by a head Wednesday in the $86,350 Wickerr Stakes at Del Mar.

Trained by Doug O'Neill and ridden by Flavien Prat, the Texas-bred Pure Tactics ran a mile on the infield Jimmy Durante Turf Course in 1:34.78 and paid $9.40, $4.80 and $4.20. The 6-year-old has 10 victories in 25 career starts with earnings of $431,106.

Winning Prize returned $4.40 and $3.20, and Wickinson paid $8 to show.
