Stormy Regatta , Isabella Sings win Monmouth feature races

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Stormy Regatta overtook Rachel Wall in the closing strides to win by a nose in one division of the $60,000 Little Silver Stakes at Monmouth Park on Sunday, while Isabella Sings scored a wire-to-wire win in the other division.

Ridden by Joe Bravo and trained by Christophe Clement, Stormy Regatta ran 1 1/16 miles over the firm turf course in 1:41 3/5 and paid $4, $3 and $2.40. It marked the third win in five career starts for the 3-year-old filly.

Rachel Wall returned $14 and $7.20, while Kawfee Fa Marfa was 1 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $3.60 to show.

In the other division, Isabella Sings took the lead and never gave it up, beating Pine Needles by three-quarters of a length.

Trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Abel Castellano Jr., the 3-year-old filly ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:40 3/5 and paid $21.40, $7.80, $2.80. Pine Needles returned $3.20 and $2.10, and Kitten's Roar paid $2.10.
