Recepta wins Belmont's Noble Damsel Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) Recepta rallied to beat Lady Lara by a half-length Saturday in the $200,000 Noble Damsel Stakes for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.

It was the richest victory for the 4-year-old trained by Jimmy Toner and ridden by Elvis Trujillo.

Recepta ran a mile in 1:33.32 for her fifth win in 11 starts. She paid $14.60, $6 and $4.30.

Lady Lara returned $4.10 and $2.90, and Crowley's Law paid $3.90 to show.
