Bee A Magician in 5th spot at $1 million International Trot

NEW YORK (AP) The Canadian mare Bee A Magician drew the fifth post position and became the 3-1 morning line favorite Tuesday in the $1 million International Trot.

The event will be held at Yonkers Raceway on Saturday.

Brian Sears will drive Bee A Magician, the only mare in the field, who has shown an affinity for Yonkers' half-mile strip with three wins in four starts.

The 10 premier trotters in the world from six countries - Canada, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden and the United States - will head to the post in the 1 1/4-mile International.

The event has been revived by raceway president and CEO Tim Rooney after a 20-year absence.
