Momameamaria returns to win Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) Momameamaria returned from a six-month layoff to win the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares Thursday in the slop at Aqueduct.

The 3-year-old trained by David Cannizzo set the pace for a 6-1 upset, holding off 8-5 favorite Clothes Fall Off by a neck. Manny Franco was aboard for the six furlongs in 1:12.66.

Momameamaria raced to her third win in eight starts, paying $15.60. $6.50 and $4.30.

Clothes Fall Off returned $3.50 and $2.40, and Blithely paid $2.50 to show.
