King Kranz wins Aqueduct's Lost In The Fog Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) King Kranz won the $122,500 Lost In The Fog Stakes for 3-year-olds at Aqueduct on Friday for his first victory.

The colt trained by John Terranova beat 8-5 favorite Jan's Reserve by a length to snap a five-race losing streak.

King Kranz is owned by Zayat Stables who campaigned Triple Crown winner American Pharoah last season.

Cornelio Velasquez was aboard for the six furlongs in 1:11.84 on the fast track.

King Kranz paid $5.40, $2.60 and $2.10. Jan's Reserve returned $2.60 and $2.20, and Sallisaw paid $2.90 to show.
