Aqueduct cancels Saturday card because of cold, high winds

NEW YORK (AP) Aqueduct has canceled the Saturday card because of the extreme cold and high winds in the New York area.

It was the fifth cancellation of the winter meet.

The track remained open for betting on out-of-state races.

The two $100,000 stakes, the Broadway and the Haynesfield, were rescheduled for Feb. 21.

Racing resumes on Sunday, weather permitting.
