NEW YORK (AP) Jules N Rome raced to a pacesetting victory Thursday in the $73,500 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

The gray 4-year-old, ridden by Kendrick Carmouche, jumped out to big early lead, showing the way by 3 1/2 lengths after a quarter-mile. She prevailed by 2 1/2 lengths over Milaya, improving to 6 for 15.

The time was 1:36.72 for the mile.

Jules N Rome, trained by Danny Gargan, paid $3.90, $2.40 and $2.10 as the 4/5 favorite.

Milaya returned $3.10 and $2.30, and Dickinson paid $2.70 to show.
