The 2016 Kentucky Derby will be held on Saturday at Churchhill Downs.
Last year’s winner, American Pharoah, went on to become the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to win the Triple Crown of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.
This year’s favorite is the undefeated Nyquist at 10–3 odds. A strong challenge is expected from Exaggerator and Mohaymen at 8–1 odds.
