Preakness Stakes post positions: Full list of horses, starting positions
The Preakness Stakes completed its full post position draw on Wednesday, ahead of Saturday’s race.
Kentucky Derby winner and betting favorite Nyquist will line up in gate No. 3 and hope to extend his pursuit of the Triple Crown. Nyquist, who has won all eight races in his career, is even liked by his rivals. ''I haven't seen any reason to doubt that he can go ahead and do the Triple Crown,'' Barclay Taggtold the Associated Press. ''He hasn't done anything wrong, and he's had a lot of tries. He's taken on all comers on both sides of the continent. How can you say he won't go all the way?'
