The 2016 Preakness Stakes will be held on Saturday at Pimlico at 6:45 p.m. ET.

Last year, American Pharoah became the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to win the Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes).

Nyquist is looking to join Affirmed as just the second horse to win the Triple Crown in the year after another horse accomplished the feat. After winning the Kentucky Derby, he is favored at 4/7 odds.

The top challenger is expected to be Exaggerator, who is currently given 15/4 odds. Exaggerator finished second at the Derby.
