NEW YORK (AP) Too Discreet set the pace and drew clear to a 2 1/2-length victory Saturday in the $100,000 Pradise Creek Stakes for 3-year-old turf sprinters at Belmont Park.

It was the third win in four starts for the gray colt trained by Christophe Clement and ridden by Joel Rosario.

''He broke in front right away,'' Rosario said. ''I was cruising the whole time.''

Too Discreet, the 5-2 second choice, paid $7, $3.80 and $2.90.

Conquest See Ya rallied from fifth to get second, returning $4.70 and $3.70.

John Q. Public paid $6.30 to show. Mighty Mo, the 3-2 favorite, was fourth.

The time was 1:20.28 for the seven furlongs over the firm course.
