Robillard holds on to win Belmont Park feature

NEW YORK (AP) Robillard held off Itsonlyactingdad by a neck Friday to win the $85,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.

Robillard and jockey Kendrick Carmouche set the pace from the outside post in the six-horse field. Itsonlyactingdad, the early trailer, made a strong late-stretch run but could not collar the leader.

Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, Robillard got her fourth win in nine starts. The 4-year-old improved her record to 2-0-1 in three starts over the Belmont course.

The time was a swift 1:39.11 for the 1 1/16 miles.

Robillard paid $6.60, $3.40 and $2.50.

Itsonlyactingdad returned $3.30 and $2.60.

Miss Chatelaine paid $2.80 to show.
