NEW YORK (AP) The Truth Or Else was the 28-1 upset winner of the $90,000 allowance feature on Thursday at Belmont Park.

The long shot was aided by a quick early pace that left 3-2 favorite Dads Caps vulnerable in the lane.

The Truth Or Else and jockey Luis Saez rallied from far back to beat Dannie's Dreamer by 1 1/4 lengths.

A 4-year-old colt trained by Ken McPeak, The Truth Or Else got his fourth win in 21 starts. The time was 1:09.72 for the six furlongs over a track muddied by a fast-moving storm that drenched the area and briefly delayed the start of the previous race.

The Truth Or Else paid $58.50, $14.40 and $4. Dannie's Deceiver returned $3.50 and $2.50. Dads Caps held on for third, paying $2.20 to show.
