Bob Baffert-trained Pretty N Cool wins at Del Mar

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Pretty N Cool rallied in the stretch to win the $77,600 C.E.R.F. Stakes by 1 1/2 lengths Wednesday at Del Mar.

Ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, Pretty N Cool split horses entering the stretch, engaged front-running 6-5 favorite Shh She's Our and disposed of her before cruising to the wire. Pretty N Cool ran six furlongs in 1:09.07 and paid $8, $4.40 and $2.60.

Enchanting Lady returned $3.40 and $2.40, and Shh She's Ours was another half-length back in third and returned $2.10 to show.

Pretty N Cool and Enchanting Lady are both trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert.

The victory, worth $46,560, increased Pretty N Cool's career earnings to $432,560, with four wins in eight starts. She raced for the first time since January.
