Conquest Enforcer captures Belmont's Allied Force Stakes
NEW YORK (AP) Conquest Enforcer shipped down from Canada to capture the $100,000 Allied Force Stakes for 3-year-olds on Sunday at Belmont Park.
Making his first start outside Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Conquest Enforcer took charge at the top of the stretch on the way to a 1 3/4- length victory over Too Discreet.
Javier Castellano was aboard for trainer Mark Casse as the 3/5 favorite got his fourth win, all in stakes, from six starts.
The time was 1:07.76 for six furlongs over the firm turf course.
Conquest Enforcer paid $3.20, $2.30 and $2.10. Too Discreet returned $3.50 and $2.10, and Front Pocket Money paid $2.30 to show.
