Texting rallies to win Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) Texting beat Earring by a neck Wednesday in the $77,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.

A 3-year-old trained by Chad Brown, Texting rallied four wide in the lane to secure her second win in six starts.

John Velazquez was aboard for the 1 1/4 miles in 2:03.01.

Texting paid $5.10, $2.80 and $2.20 as the 3/2 favorite.

Earring returned $3.20 and $2.40, and Morethanawarning paid $2.90 to show.
