Favored Sausalito Sunset wins feature at Los Alamitos

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (AP) Sausalito Sunset won the $36,185 feature by 2 1/4 lengths Friday at Los Alamitos.

Ridden by Jamie Theriot, Sausalito Sunset ran six furlongs in 1:11.36 and paid $4.20, $2.80 and $2.60 as the 11-10 favorite.

Cioppino Pasadino returned $6.20 and $4.80, while 30-1 shot So Heres the Thing was another half-length back in third and paid $6 to show.

Sausalito Sunset earned her second win in four career starts and has earnings of $55,200.

Lilac Street was a late scratch after breaking through the starting gate, causing a slight delay to the start of the race.
