ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Blue Tone led all the way and won the $55,000 feature by 4 1/2 lengths Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Blue Tone ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.64 and paid $25, $7.80 and $4.40 at 11-1 odds.

Avanti Bello returned $3 and $2.40 as the even-money favorite. Chief of Staff was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $3.80 to show.

The victory, worth $33,000, increased Blue Tone's career earnings to $408,870, with six wins in 22 starts.
