Many athletes and fitness professionals will tell you that two of the biggest parts of their fitness regiments are hydration and foam rolling, which can prepare muscles for activity and relieve soreness after working out.
Those two things have been combined into one apparatus, as SKLZ created the Hydro-Roller, an innovative foam roller water bottle design. It was released to key retailers nationwide last week for $39.99.

With durable stainless steel on the interior and high-density foam on the exterior, the bottle can hold up to 28 oz. of fluids and support up to 300 pounds of weight.
“We know muscle maintenance and hydration are key components to how athletes perform on the field,” SKLZ fitness category manager Michael Cummings said in a statement. “The Hyrdro-Roller is the new must-have for athletes. Instead of carrying a foam roller and a water bottle—you have an easy solution to make your bag a little lighter.”
Foam rolling has become one of the most popular post-workout activities, and the benefits are well known. By rolling, you are stretching the fascia, which is a layer of connective tissue that surrounds all of your muscles. Without proper mobility, the fascia can bind to muscles and nerves, keeping you from having full range of motion and causing pain.
SKLZ recommends using the Hydro-Roller for muscle warm-ups and recovery.
