The King gets what he wants.

Last week, the league released an update of its official app to coincide with the start of the preseason. The app’s features include game scores and schedules, highlight videos and league news. It also allows users to follow specific players and teams.

Dime magazine and SportTechie came to the same conclusion about the app. The problem was that the categories didn’t stick as you scrolled down, leaving you looking at a series of numbers with no context.

But it seems the Cavaliers star’s complaint lit a fire under the NBA, because it released an update the very next day. The description in the app store about that update read: “We appreciate your feedback and we’re always looking to improve the NBA app. This release includes a box score update for better navigation and other performance enhancements.”

No word yet on what James is hoping for in the next release.
