Bryce Harper had to leave Monday night's game in the bottom of the fifth inning after running into the right field wall at Dodger Stadium.

Harper was tracking down a deep fly ball off the bat of Dodgers catcher A.J. Ellis when he ran face first into an electronic scoreboard.

He laid on the ground for a while and did his best to convince manager Davey Johnson and the Nationals' trainer he was OK to stay in the game. But they disagreed, and Harper walked to the clubhouse under his own power. Bloody neck and all, Harper looked fine as he left the game. This was not Harper's first rodeo as far as "bleeding during game" incidents are concerned.

The Nats replaced him in right field with Roger Bernadina.
