The Red Sox are getting trade inquiries for first baseman MIke Napoli, Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe reported Sunday citing an MLB source.

According to one American League General Manager in the report, Napoli would hold more value if he would catch for 20-30 games but as Cafardo points out, Napoli's chronic hip pain doesn't allow for it.

Napoli, an All-Star in 2012, is under contract for next season and has a limited no-trade clause in his deal. If he did move, however, it's possible Boston would relocate Will Middlebrooks to first base.
