Texas Rangers

Record: 38-57

Standing: Last place in AL West

Team Leaders:

Batting average: Adrian Beltre, .337

Home Runs: Adrian Beltre, 13

ERA: Yu Darvish, 2.97

The Rangers fell to last place in the AL West after injuries forced them to use 50 players before the All-Star break, including 30 pitchers. Injuries to Matt Harrison, Derek Holland, Martin Perez, Alexi Ogando, Prince Fielder and Jurickson Profar have been especially damaging.

Yu Darvish (2.97 ERA) and Adrian Beltre (batting .337) are still among the best in baseball at their positions, but facing a lost season the Rangers will look to trade off spare parts. Closer Joakim Soria (2.67 ERA, 16 saves) is a prime candidate to be moved.
