Rangers outfielder Alex Rios is expected back Wednesday vs. the Yankees,  T.R. Sullivan from Rangers.com reported Tuesday

The two-time All-Star was out again on Tuesday for the third straight game because of a sprained right ankle he suffered during a swing in the first inning of Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Blue Jays. Manager Ron Washington had said over the weekend that it was possible he could be back Tuesday. Rios tested the ankle before the game on Tuesday and said he was ready to go, according to the report, but Washington opted to give him an extra day to make sure it was completely healed.

Rios said he expects to be "as good as ever" when he returns. On the season, the 33-year-old is batting .302 with four homers and 42 RBI.
