Astros OF George Springer reportedly has setback after tweaking quad

Astros outfielder George Springer had a setback during rehab on Wednesday after tweaking his quad muscle while running the bases in a game for High-A Quad Cities in Iowa, according to a tweet Wednesday night from Evan Drellich of The Houston Chronicle.
The 25-year-old, who made his MLB debut in April for the Astros, is now headed back to Houston for re-evaluation. He was set for a likely activation on Thursday but that remains up in the air as he undergoes further tests.

Springer had been leading the Astros with 20 homers - one short of Lance Berkman's franchise record for a rookie -- when he was placed on the 15-day DL after initially going down with a strained left quadriceps at the end of July.
The Astros are ahead of only the Rangers in the AL West heading into Thursday's series finale against the Phillies in Philadelphia.
