The Chicago Cubs are set to call up outfielder Jorge Soler, one of the top prospects in the team’s farm system, according to the the Chicago Tribune

Soler was taken out of Triple-A Iowa’s game against Tacoma on Monday night after hitting a three-run home run in the third inning of the game and is set to join the team Wednesday in Cincinnati.

“He's a special kid," Iowa hitting coach Bryan Harper said to MiLB.com. "He's strong as can be. What we saw this year, even though it was just a couple hundred at-bats, was what we were all expecting from him. I think he's lived up to it."

Soler is hitting .338 with 15 home runs and 54 RBIs while playing in Triple-A, Double-A and the rookie league this season. He was hurt the majority of last season and was called up to Iowa last month.
