The Rockies on Wednesday placed catcher Wilin Rosario and lefty reliever Boone Logan on the 15-day disabled list, according to tweets from the league's official feed of roster transactions.

The 25-year-old Rosario has been dealing with inflammation in his left wrist. The move to the DL was retroactive to Saturday since the last time he played was on Friday. In 91 games, he's hitting .248 to go along with 35 runs, 20 doubles, 10 homers and 43 RBI.

Logan, who turned 30 earlier in August, has a 6.84 ERA and 1.680 WHIP in 35 appearances and 25 innings. He led the AL with 80 appearances in 2012 while with the Yankees, and then signed a three-year, $16.5 million contract with Colorado.

The Rockies, who have already been without Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez, find themselves fifth in the NL West heading into Wednesday night's game in San Francisco against the Giants.
