Bryce Harper voted MLB most overrated
Thursday March 19th, 2015

Major league baseball players have voted in an ESPN The Magazine poll that Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is the most overrated in the league, according to the Washington Post.

Harper was the leading vote-getter, receiving 41 percent of the total. Yasiel Puig came second with 15 percent of the vote. Mike Trout was voted the best overall player in the league.

As the Washington Post notes, Harper was also voted the most overrated player in the MLB in the same poll last year.

Harper missed a significant amount of time in 2014 because of a thumb injury. In 100 games last year, Harper batted .273 with 13 home runs and 32 RBIs.

The Nationals finished last season 96-66, the best record in the NL. They lost to the San Francisco Giants in the NLDS.

Washington will start the 2015 season on April 6, at home against the New York Mets.
