Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen hit a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning at Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout led off the game with a home run that gave the AL a 1–0 lead. The National League later tied things up on an RBI single by Jhonny Peralta, but back-to-back singles by Prince Fielder and Lorenzo Cain in the top of the fifth gave the AL a 3–1 lead and a two-run seventh inning made it 5–2.
