Yankees sign 1st-round pick James Kaprielian

NOTES: OF Carlos Beltran (strained left oblique) went 2 for 2 with a walk as the DH for Class A Tampa against Charlotte in his first minor league rehab game. He is eligible to come off the 15-day DL on Friday.
