Toronto Blue Jays centerfielder Kevin Pillar made an impressive diving catch in the eighth inning of Toronto's 9–3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.

Twins designated hitter Miguel Sano came to the plate with two outs in the eighth inning when he hit a deep drive to centerfield. Pillar was able to track the ball down and make a leaping grab.

After the game, Pillar talked to reporters about his feat.

“That was one of those times where I kind of felt like I had a little bit of intuition with the guy on the mound, with the hitter, I kind of felt like I knew where the ball was going to go before it did,” he said. "I just had a good jump and I'm out there to win games in whatever way possible.”

The win gave the Blue Jays a four-game sweep of Minnesota. Toronto is now 4 1/2 games behind the New York Yankees for the AL East lead as the teams head into a three-game series in the Bronx this weekend.
