Third baseman Kris Bryant and first baseman Anthony Rizzo went back-to-back with home runs for the Cubs in the fifth inning of Monday night's National League Division Series game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Bryant entered Game 3 after going 0 for 11 with four strikeouts before starting off Monday night going 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs.

Bryant's shot knocked Cardinals starter Michael Wacha out of the game after 4 1/3 innings of work.

Rizzo welcomed reliever Kevin Siegrist into the game with a home run on his fifth pitch of the night. He was given the silent treatment upon his return to the dugout for a celebration.

This is only the second time two Cubs players hit back-to-back home runs in the postseason. The feat was last accomplished in 1984 with Jody Davis and Leon Durham.

The series is tied at 1–1. Game 4 is slated to be played at 4:37 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
