Ben Revere leaped and hit his face against the wall in leftfield to rob the Kansas City Royals and Salvador Perez of extra bases in the seventh inning of Game 6 of the American League Championship Series.
Revere's catch prevented the Royals from scoring off an extra-base hit as Toronto trailed 2–1 before the catch.
The Royals managed to score one run following the catch as Alex Rios singled to bring home Mike Moustakas with two outs. The Royals took a 3–1 lead.
In Game 2 of the ALCS, a ball rebounded off the dirt in front of Perez and home plate before hitting Revere on top of his head. The two embraced after the defensive mishap.
