The Atlanta Braves have agreed to sign righthander Bud Norris to a one-year contract, the team announced.

Norris, 30, spent last season with the Orioles and Padres, with a 6.72 ERA and 1.58 WHIP in 83 innings. He served primarily as a starter before last season, then worked out of the bullpen for Baltimore before making 11 starts for San Diego, who acquired him in a mid-season trade. CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman reported the deal is worth $2.5 million.

Norris has a career 4.44 ERA and 1.40 WHIP, and a record of 58–68. He joins Shelby Miller and Julio Teheran in Atlanta’s pitching rotation.
